Subconscious Mind and Negative Thoughts

Subconscious Mind and Negative Thoughts

How Negative Thoughts Affect Your Subconscious Mind and Body

Negative thoughts on your subconscious mind can really destroy your life.

Your subconscious mind is a silent force that shapes your whole being and present circumstances. If negative thoughts are left to stay on your subconscious you’ll experience more struggle and more pain with no end in sight.

There’s no denying that the world is full of negative people. You might even be one, too. So, why are some people so negative?

Negative thinking starts in the immediate environment.

Often, it’s family or friends who are the likely suspects. You see, it’s not only our physical features that we inherit from our parents. Most of the time, we also inherit their flawed views (negative thinking), which they might have also received from their parents or from other people close to them.

Present circumstances and bad experiences can also be reasons why people have twisted and grim perceptions of the world. People who are so used to living in poverty often think that there’s no hope for them, so they might as well accept their fate. A girl might have trust issues in relationships because of the way their father or mother behaved in their relationships.

The Subconscious Mind and Health

“A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.” – Proverbs 14:30

Our physical health is connected to our mental health. If one is compromised, the other will surely be affected. If your mind is filled with negative feelings and thoughts, sickness will surely follow.

It’s not just our foods that we should be conscious about. We should also be conscious about how we think and feel. If we want to have overall good health, we have to eliminate anger, extreme loneliness, anxiety, shame, envy, bitterness, and other unpleasant emotions and thoughts from our system.

4 Solutions to Help Get Rid of Negative Thoughts from Your Subconscious Mind

1. Identify the real cause of your negative thoughts and emotions. People often forget this step. They just look for momentary solutions, like drugs and alcohol, which usually breed new problems.

2. Get rid of toxic people. If it’s just an acquaintance, it’s pretty easy to do this. But, what if it’s a family member or a close friend? Well, try to limit your exposure to them, and choose to surround yourself more with positive people.

3. Always find the positive aspect of any situation or person. For instance, if you lost your job, you can take it as an opportunity to spend more quality time with your kids and wife while looking for new opportunities.

4. Think of the consequences. Perhaps it could mean straining an important relationship. Or perhaps it could prevent you from achieving a rewarding career. Whatever it is, reminding yourself of the possible outcomes of negative thoughts can help you be more careful with your behavior and reaction.

There’s absolutely no reason why you can’t overcome this issue. It only takes a conscious decision and effort on your part in order to free yourself from the bondage of negativity. So, decide to put a stop to all of these now and start developing a healthy subconscious mind by getting rid of the negative thinking that’s on your subconscious mind.
