Using Your Subconscious Mind Power for Better Health

Your subconscious mind greatly affects your health. Drugs, hi-tech medical facilities, and mainstream medical interventions are beneficial. But these are not the only deciding factors of good health. Better health starts in the deepest part of your brain, your subconscious mind.

When you see your longtime lover or soul mate, your heart starts to pound like crazy and you sweat all over.

If you feel hungry, your mouth starts to water just by the mere thought of your favorite food.

When you’re mad, your blood pressure shoots up.

When you’re afraid, you feel a tingling sensation and the hair all over your body starts to stand up.

As you can see, thoughts and emotions highly influence your body and reactions. Even doctors now recognize the importance of a person’s  thinking in curing diseases and maintaining optimal health.

What is health exactly, by the way? According to the World Health Organization, health is a “state of complete physical, mental, and social well being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

1) Laugh! – The saying “laughter is the best medicine” is really effective. Laughing, the heartfelt kind, releases all the stresses from your body. The main idea here is just to add wholesome fun in your life.

2) Perform mental exercises – get rid of your negative thoughts, relax your mind, and pay close attention to what your body is really feeling. You can do relaxation techniques, such as meditation and visualization.

3) Get rid of doubts. Doubts are negative thoughts that don’t allow your subconscious mind to help you enjoy good health.

4) Fill your mind with health ideas – your thoughts are picked up by your subconscious mind. Your subconscious will then force you to take the actions that mirror those thoughts. Think and believe you’re going to get sick and you’ll do the things that will compel you to get sick.

5) As I’ve said, your mind and body are connected to each other. That’s why it’s also important to have a good health habits. Habits like proper exercise and a well-balanced diet. Exercise releases your “happy” hormones, or your epinephrine hormones.

6) Don’t wallow on negative emotions. Weed out toxic thoughts, situations, and people from your life. If you don’t, you’ll only create more stress which will take a toll on your health.

7) Acknowledge the difficulties in your life. Don’t suppress them in your subconscious mind. Work on them so that you improve your situation.

So, should we totally ignore medical interventions and 100% rely on the power of our mind? No. You still need to rely on medicine to help you heal or manage the damage done to your body.

There have been incidents where people healed themselves just by purely using their mental powers. But we can’t really completely dismiss the benefits of medical interventions.

If you really want to have optimal health, it will be helpful to combine the power of your subconscious mind with that of effective medical techniques.  Even Doctors recognize the power of the subconscious mind and how it can help with healing, and medicine still has a powerful role.
